This camp, hosted by Sheriff Derrick Cunningham and the staff of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will be held July 29th,-August 2nd.
During this camp, youth explore and enjoy a week of outdoor fun and recreation. This mentoring based camp, also offers workshops addressing bullying and the effects of bullying behaviors, substance abuse awareness and prevention and environmental safety and education.
This camp is free of charge and open on a first come, first serve basis to 100 boys and girls living in Montgomery County between the ages of 9-11.
Applications can be picked up at the Administrative Office of the Sheriff, 100 South Lawrence Street, 2nd floor, Monday- Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-4:45 p.m.
This annual event is one of many of Sheriff Cunningham’s Youth Focused Activities.
